As long as both mom and baby are healthy, the baby should be placed immediately on mom’s chest after birth, rather than being taken to the warmer. This moment is about more than just breastfeeding; it’s crucial for bonding and regulating the baby’s nervous system.

FAQS

  • Since our calendar fills up quickly, we encourage mothers to reach out around the 12-20 week mark. This gives you plenty of opportunities to take our childbirth education classes. However, if we have room in our calendar we will sign on families at any point in their pregnancy.

  • Your partner knows you better than a doula ever will, and your doula knows childbirth better than your partner ever will. Together, we create a well-rounded circle of support. It's our goal to make the mother feel confident while giving birth and the partner feel confident while providing support.

  • Yes! Our Birth & Postpartum Doula Support package offer continuous pregnancy, labor, and postpartum support. During months 1-3 of postpartum, we provide unlimited text, phone, and email support.

Our Language

All are welcomed, supported, and celebrated here. While we reference “women” and “mothers” in the language on our website and social media, we stand with, work with, and support any birthing person. Our care, practice, love, and support do not discriminate.
