We are so excited to be starting our Birth Story Circle! This is something we have been wanting to do for a long time.
The benefits of sharing positive birth stories are numerous. Hearing positive birth stories can help to counteract the negative birth narratives that are often presented in the media and can contribute to feelings of fear and uncertainty about childbirth.
We want families to realize that positive empowering births happen all the time in our local hospitals!
Come ready to listen or share your story. This will be a safe space to share and ask questions. The circle will be facilitated by Mary.
This event is free, but we do need all who plan to attend to RSVP. If you plan on sharing your birth story you will be emailed a list of questions that can help shape what you plan on sharing.
